In this life there are a number of things that can try to steal your joy. However, it is your responsibility to ensure nothing steals your joy and more so it is your responsibility to protect your peace and happiness. In this article, I have curated a list of healthy habits you should cultivate in order to stay happy.
1. Laugh more
There is a saying that "laughter is the best medicine” and that saying is true. Make a conscious effort to laugh more. Laughing can do a whole lot of things you never even imagine. Make it your point of duty to laugh more.
2. Learn everyday
When I say learn every day I don’t necessarily mean pick up a book and read every day. Learning daily means you can learn from the things around you, from situations, from people etc. Learning is a healthy habit that should be cultivated. It is like food to the soul.
3. Talk less and listen more
Another healthy habit you should cultivate is talking less and listening more. When you talk less, you will find out that you are able to think more and gather better thoughts and ideas and when you finally open your lips to speak, the words from your mouth will attest to this.
